Choose what the code is for, fill in the details, pick colours and a dot style, add a logo if you like, and download. The code is made in your browser and never expires.
The code holds exactly this and goes straight to it, with no redirect or tracking.

Questions
Is it really free, and does the code expire?
Yes, it is free, with no signup. These are static codes: the link is built into the pattern itself, so they never expire and nothing depends on us staying online.
What can a code do besides open a link?
Join a Wi-Fi network, open a WhatsApp chat with a message ready to send, start a phone call, write an email, or save a contact card. Scanning with the phone camera is enough, with no app to install.
Do you track scans or store my link or logo?
No. The code is created in your browser and your details, including a Wi-Fi password, are never uploaded. We do not route the code through a redirect service, so we cannot see who scans it.
What size should I print it?
A common rule of thumb is to make the code about one tenth of the scanning distance. For a leaflet read at arm's length, 2 to 3 cm is usually enough. For a poster, go much larger. Always test a printed copy before you print a batch.
Why does adding a logo change the error correction?
A logo covers part of the pattern. We switch to the highest error correction level (H), which lets scanners recover from roughly 30% of the code being hidden. The code gets denser, so keep the logo small.
Should I download SVG or PNG?
Use SVG for print, signage and anything that gets resized, because it stays sharp at any size. Use PNG for screens, documents and social posts.
Can I use light colours on a dark background?
It is risky. Many scanners expect a dark code on a light background, and inverted codes fail on some phones. Keep the code darker than its background, with strong contrast.
